We want to keep PromptNOW a positive, fun, and harm-free community that should be welcoming for anybody wherever they’re from and however, they look like. You can help by following these terms of service (aka the TOS). We time out and sometimes ban people who do not. At the moment, we don’t offer a formal appeal process. If your account was closed, you wouldn’t be able to sign up for PromptNOW again.

These terms apply to PromptNOW and any other of PromptNOW’s sites, apps, and communities on any platform, any of its meetups, and/or any of its online or offline events or properties.

Informal summary:

– PromptNOW’s sites are crowdsourced and have user-generated content, so don’t rely on the data and always double-check if the data you’re using is free of legal charges and legal to be used in other sites.

– Data and content that users develop and submit will be reviewed. We work to keep the PromptNOW community safe. We will strictly regulate any content that features characters or human-like things that even faintly resemble underage people, but we won’t stop there. Portraying or insinuating nudity or illegal or morally reprehensible behavior against anything that resembles a minor will not be tolerated in PromptNOW and will result in an immediate and permanent ban from our sites and the deletion of all content related to the offense and/or the user in question. Since there’s no way of checking whether an AI-generated person-like character is underage or not, we will err on the side of caution and will moderate aggressively to delete any dubious content from our platforms.

– We are not responsible if you suffer harm as a result of using our website, app, data, meetups, or anything else we provide.

– Check to verify if using our prompts on other websites complies with applicable laws and the rules governing those other websites before doing so. We’re not in charge of it.

– When entering your email during sign-up, we may use it to contact you.

– When providing feedback (through the feedback form or any other way), you agree to let us use it to improve the site/app.

– We collect analytics data including your IP, location, and actions on this site to make it better

– You agree that we may publish the materials you submit to this site indefinitely.

– We also use your IP, location, and actions on this site to personalize it (e.g show you the best prompts for you based on your likes)

– We use public profile names, info, and images on the site and our social media, for example when tweeting a new feature.

– If you upload content against our TOS to any of our platforms, we have the right to ban you, delete your account prevent you from ever signing up again using different accounts.

PromptNOW’s data and content are crowdsourced from numerous users’ inputs, data sets, and open APIs. It is difficult to obtain data that is 100% accurate and damage-free due to the nature of the information. As a result, we disclaim all liability for any loss, harm, or annoyance caused by the use of PromptNOW’s websites and apps. Data should be checked before usage.

Any reliance on the information found on PromptNOW and any of its sites and properties will not subject PromptNOW to liability or duty to any person or entity.

To the full extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that in no event shall PromptNOW be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses (even if any PromptNOW has been advised of the possibility of such damages) arising out of or in connection with (a) PromptNOW or this Agreement or the inability to use PromptNOW (however arising, including our negligence), (b) statements or conduct of or transactions with any member or third party on PromptNOW, (c) your use of PromptNOW or transportation to or from PromptNOW events, attendance at PromptNOW events, participation in or exclusion from PromptNOW groups or PromptNOW events and the actions of you or others at PromptNOW events, or (d) any other matter relating to PromptNOW. Our liability to you or any third parties in any circumstance is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount of fees, if any, you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the action that may give rise to liability.

If you contribute any content or data to the site, including but not limited to uploading prompts, metadata, posts on the site and messages on the chat, your profile information, profile photos, meetup photos or other photos, you provide us with a perpetual license to broadcast, display, distribute, sell and produce derivatives from your contributions including on other platforms (including but not limited to Slack, Discord, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube) in the future.

We make every effort to deliver accurate data. However, PromptNOW reserves the right to make changes to the materials found on its websites, applications, forums, and other assets at any time. We make no representations or warranties as to the authenticity or currency of the content on this site and disclaim all liability for any issues resulting from altered circumstances or other information or material.

Copyright in PromptNOW’s websites, apps, communities, and its properties rests with PromptNOW unless otherwise stated.

For conduct that violates our TOS, we retain the right to permanently ban any user from using our websites. We will be the sole judge of guidelines violations and we do not offer appeals or refunds in those cases.

Many of our websites, apps, and communities contain user-generated data that is subjective, may not be accurate, or may be offensive to you. We are not liable for any damages that result from using this data.

The information posted on our websites, apps, and communities should not be considered legal, financial, or other advice and is not intended to replace consultation with a qualified professional or specific written confirmation from PromptNOW. We do not answer specific legal or financial questions.
